Born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, Adriana was fortunate to be immersed in the vibrant Mexican culture from an early age. This exposure nurtured a deep love and passion for Mexican spirits. As a certified Tequila Master, Adriana's pursuit to discover new and exciting Mexican Spirits is unending and fueled by her passion to share this knowledge with a wider audience.

About Leyendas de Mexico Tequila

Established by Mexican Tequila Master Melly Barajas Cardenas, one of only 12 female master distillers in Mexico, Leyenda De Mexico is a brand of superior, handcrafted tequila from Jalisco, Mexico. Born in Guadalajara, Barajas opened her first distillery in 1999 and was soon able to purchase her own agave fields. Today, this distillery produces over 3000 bottles per day and Barajas Cardenas has won acclaim throughout the world for her dedication to producing authentic, high-quality, award-winning tequila.

Leyenda De Mexico overs several different varietals including Blanco, Blanco 24k, Reposado, and the bold and beautifully artisanal Wixarika Edition - aged tequila that features bottles carefully hand-beaded by talented female bead artists known as Wixarika.
