About the Event
Maitre de Chai’s heart and soul lies in Burgundy. We therefore invite you to a dinner celebrating the majestic Chardonnay and Pinot Noir of Burgundy. All the wines poured for the event are farmed organic from leaders in their respective appellation.
On the white side, we'll start evening with a Champagne Blanc de Blancs Nature from Laherte Frères, making wonderfully distinctive. Then two white wines from the rising star of Chablis, Roland Lavantureux and the thoughtful and classic Pernand-Vergelesses from Rapet Père et Fils (1765).
As for reds, we’ll pair two great QPR wines; a floral and gourmet Lucien Muzard Santenay with a juicy and vibrant Domaine Rapet Chorey-lès-Beaune. At last, amongst the finest of Burgundy, the historic and exceptionnal Chandon de Briailles (1834) will bewitch us with a Savigny 1er Cru Lavières, a Pernand 1er Cru Ile de Vergellesses and the 98 points Corton-Bressandes.
