About The Wines:

The gamay grape is the star of Beaujolais and it shines brightest in the 10 cru villages that make up the north end of this famous appellation.  Much like in Burgundy to the north, location is everything in Beaujolais, and wines from the same village and vintage can taste radically different depending on the vineyard in which they are grown.  Paired with some classic French cuisine, this dinner with explore the cru villages of Morgon and Fleurie in-depth.  The wines featured will include:

2022 Morgon Cote du Py - Domaine Bonne Tonne

2022 Morgon Grand Cras - Domaine Bonne Tonne

2021 Fleurie La Madone – Guillaume Chanudet

2023 Fleurie “La patte du p'tit chat” – Guillaume Chanudet

Menu: 

1st. Salade Lyonnaise 

•⁠  ⁠Romaine heart, frisée, mustard vinaigrette, cherry tomato, croutons, guanchile

2nd. Mushroom risotto

•⁠  ⁠mushroom medley, romano, crispy maitake, shaved truffle

3rd. Herb roasted chicken breast

•⁠  ⁠herb de Provence, chicken jus, roasted acorn squash, caulini 

4th. Creme Brulée.
