About Cantine San Silvestre
Cantine San Silvestro is a family-run winery based in Novello, in the heart of Piedmont’s Langhe region, not far from Barolo. The Sartirano family has managed the estate for over four generations, blending traditional winemaking techniques with modern innovation.
San Silvestro produces a wide range of classic Piedmontese varietals, including Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera d’Alba, Dolcetto, and Gavi, among others. Their philosophy emphasizes sustainability, regional identity, and long-standing relationships with growers across key appellations.
The winery is known for crafting wines that are accessible yet expressive, offering a snapshot of the region's diversity—from structured reds made with Nebbiolo to fresh, mineral-driven whites. They also produce special cuvées and riservas that highlight the aging potential and complexity of their top-tier wines.
