About the Event

About the Agency

Corkscrew Imports is a boutique wine importing agency that seeks out smaller, family-owned wineries to represent in the Ontario market. We believe that these often-overlooked wineries have wonderful stories to tell through their wines and are proud to represent them. Jennifer moved into the wine world in 2017 after a 20+ year career working in the legal field, because let’s face it, wine is more fun to talk about! She's a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS), has passed her WSET Level 3 with Merit and is currently a WSET Diploma student.

About the Winery

Icellars Estate Winery is a small boutique winery located in beautiful Niagara-on- the-Lake, founded in 2010 by the ICEL family. Icellars vineyards and winery are fittingly located in Niagara-on-the- Lake, birthplace and origin of the Canadian Wine Industry. Small batch wines are produced from the farm and inspired by classic winemaking styles deeply rooted in the history of viticulture and winemaking. Our label design captures the icons of an ancient life. The stag design is inspired by the wine drinking vessels used by the Hittites of Anatolia. Incorporated into the label is the Hittite sun disk – a symbol of prosperity, fertility and celebration.

Wines to be poured:

  • 2019 Sauvignon Blanc
  • 2021 Barrel Aged Rose
  • 2017 Arinna
  • 2020 Syrah
  • 2017 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
