James' passion for wine first blossomed during his time as a student at the University of Strasbourg in France. Living in this vibrant wine culture sparked his interest and deepened his appreciation for fine wines. Later, his journey with wine continued to evolve during his tenure working with Robert Mondavi in California. It was there that he expanded his knowledge and developed a keen interest in the diverse and dynamic world of small production wines from the US West Coast. - Oliver Zeter Paw Cuvée – a compelling white blend from the Pfalz Sauvignon Blanc master this is the perfect late summer sipper to pair with patio salads and grilled lobster (Pfalz, Germany)
- Shelter Rosé of Pinot Noir – Shelter produces elegant pinot noir in the Baden Baden region of Germany and the same careful attention to detail goes into their rosé. (Baden, Germany)
- Francesco Brigatti, Nebbiolo Motfrei 2020 - A classic Alto Piemonte blend from Colline Novaresi. Varietals are harvested at different times and macerated separately for 15 days. Natural fermentation in stainless steel with no added yeast. 20 months ageing in 30hL Slavonian oak, 6 months in bottle before release. No filtering, 3000 bottles produced. The flagship wine of the estate, heavier clay soil gives nice structure with notes of red berries, violet and spice. (Piedmont, Italy)
