Located in Le Puy-Notre-Dame, Manoir De La Tête Rouge has been making organic wines since 1998. Cultivating 18ha with the best clay limestone-based terroir, vineyards are alive as the soil is worked to ensure roots go deep, natural grass grows between rows to promote insect and other plant life, and synthetic chemicals are prohibited. In the cellar, grapes are fully destemmed, indigenous yeasts preferred no additions and very minimal sulphur use. They strive for pure, honest wines from a passionate vigneron.

From grapes to glass, 1006 Vins de Loire crafts natural wines in its urban winery in Angers reflecting terroirs from the Loire valley. The energetic Pauline Lair is founder and winemaker of 1006 in the heart of downtown Angers, where the cellar itself is installed in an old renovated warehouse. Her ambition has always been to become a winemaker and to craft wines of emotion and share them. The focus with 1006 is not only showcasing Loire terroir but also grapes varieties that are typical of the Loire and also curating long-term relationships with growers who employ organic and environmentally friendly practices in the vineyards.
