About the Event
The Bordeaux region was first loved for its sweet white wines, followed by the popural rise of Claret. It wasn’t until the mid 1800’s that Bordeaux red wines became more well known from the region. The 1855 Classifcation ranked the best producers in the region and consolidated Bordeaux as a red wine region.
