We have an exciting event to announce --- with very limited tickets!
We will be visiting one of Canada’s premier wineries, Closson Chase Vineyards in bucolic Prince Edward County. The day will start at 10:30am as we participate in the Chardonnay harvest followed by a group lunch with other Closson ‘friends and family’ members.
Following lunch, we head to Cold Creek Vineyards  (a grower for Closson) where Chris Braney will uncork his delicious sparkling dry County cider. We end the afternoon on John’s terrace overlooking Lake Ontario.
Lunch is free --- in exchange for our labour of course! As always, we ask each attendee to commit in advance to the purchase of one, 12-bottle case of wine from the Vintage Conservatory barrel, and this year winemaker Keith Tyers has committed grapes that make their prized Churchside Chardonnay.
"This is a lovely, showy, opulent yet seamless and effortless chardonnay from Keith Tyers. It sports a very complex weave of ripe peach, leesy, butter, vanillin and smoke on the nose, with direct relay onto the palate. It is set into almost lush, creamy texture yet centred on great County acidity. The length is excellent to outstanding." David Lawrason (winealign.com) 2020 Harvest
