The Poggio Borgoni estate boasts ancient origins; it ensues from the union of the lands of the Bishops of Florence with the estate of the Borromeo family, the important Milanese dynasty that moved to Tuscany and the Chianti region in the sixteenth century. This blend of Italian traditions contributed to the agricultural, artistic and cultural growth of the Poggio district.Â
Today as in the past, the climate and favourable exposure are complemented by the careful attention bestowed on our agricultural products, bringing forth our excellent Chianti Classico wine and Tuscan oil.
