About the Event
Positioned in the southwest of France nestled between the foothills of the Pyrenees and rolling hills of the Gascony is the wine region of Saint-Mont AOC. Neighbouring the Mandarin region and often lying in the shadow of Bordeaux, Saint-Mont proudly maintains its own identity through the expression of terroir and its range of indigenous grape varieties. Tannat is the leading grape for the Red and Rose wines with Arrufiac and Petit Courbu for the whites. Bold and robust in youth the wines also have the ability to age gracefully for decades.
This tasting will be a chance to not only discover the quality (and value) of the wines coming from this often overlooked region. But also an opportunity to experience these wines with some significant cellar age.
