An Eveining Highlighting 2005 Bordeaux Vintage
'The 2005 Bordeaux vintage is considered exceptional and legendary, known for its remarkable balance of ripe fruit, powerful yet fine tannins, and fresh acidity, creating wines with immense aging potential that are built for the long haul. While initially tight and tannic, requiring significant cellar time, the vintage delivered top-tier reds across the Left and Right Banks, with outstanding showings in St-Émilion, Pomerol, and Pauillac, and excellent dry whites and Sauternes too, making it a benchmark for quality and consistency.'
***All guests attending are required to bring a 2005 Bordeaux from one of the top left or right bank Communes from a classified or noteworthy producer. Ex: Margaux, Paulliac, Pomerol, St. Estephe etc. These will be lined up side by side, shared, and discussed amongst the group.***
