Bordeaux, the wine region that has reigned supreme for centuries is a sprawling area with thousands of Châteaux, and in the last two years I have spent a great deal of time working with the owners of Petrus to find incredible small wineries that are producing world class wines. Today we are launching our dinner series for the fall, and first up I am going walk you through the greatest discoveries I have made in the region, with wines being poured from Alain Vauthier (Ausone), Florence Cathiard (Smith Haut Lafite), and Martin and Olivier Bouygues (Montrose), I am going to show you how to drink the best of Bordeaux, without paying a king's ransom.
